'T2 Trainspotting' Trailer Released
. ![]() (Radio.com) It's been twenty years since Ewan McGregor and cast turned critical heads with their dark film Trainspotting, and now everyone is back for another go with T2 Trainspotting, which arrives in theaters January 27. The film released its first official trailer on Thursday (Nov. 3) and it includes Underworld's "Born Slippy," which scored the iconic toilet scene from the original movie. That song underscores the first half of the trailer while Wolf Alice's bleak "Silk" underscores the second half. In the trailer, McGregor's Renton is back chattering nonstop, giving an updated "choose life" monologue. He may be several years older, but it remains to be seen whether he's any the wiser in the years since audiences last saw him in Trainspotting. Watch the trailer here.
