Alessia Cara Releases 'How Far I'll Go' Video
. ![]() (Radio.com) Disney released the music video for the lead single off the animated film Moana soundtrack, "How Far I'll Go," on Thursday (Nov. 3) from Alessia Cara. The music star bears a resemblance to the lead character, lends her voice to that track and appears in the visual. The video begins with an opening shot of Moana sailing her boat across the waters before cutting to Cara walking along a warm rocky beach (presumably in Hawaii where the film is set). She draws lines in the sand, which turn out to be something far more significant once the camera pulls back and an overhead helicopter shot reveals just what she's been doing. "See the light where the sky meets the sea/ It calls me/ And no one knows how far it goes/ If the wind at my sail on the sea stays behind me/ One day I'll know/ If I go there's just no telling how far I'll go," Cara sings on the anthemic chorus.
