David Bowie Emojis Part Of Apple's iOS Update

(Classic Rock) A new update for Apple's iOS operating system includes David Bowie emojis. The iOS 10.2 update comes complete with a new range of emojis, including male and female characters complete with Bowie's iconic Aladdin Sane lightning bolt facepaint.

They are part of a profession selection that includes firefighters, painters, doctors, scientists, pilots, and others. Users will be able to make the David Bowie emojis shrug their shoulders, cross their fingers and even face palm.

A compilation featuring the singles of David Bowie is to be released next month. Titled Legacy, the collection will include a selection of the late icon's most popular tracks including Space Oddity, Ashes To Ashes, Ziggy Stardust, Heroes and The Jean Genie. Read more here.
