Lady Gaga Cast As Cilla Black In Dionne Warwick Biopic
.
(Radio.com) Lady Gaga has been cast in the role of Cilla Black for the new Dionne Warwick biopic. The film will be based on Warwick's 2010 book My Life as I See It: An Autobiography where Black is seen as Warwick's nemesis. When asked why Black was her enemy, Warwick told a reporter that it was 'because she stole my music." Black recorded a version of "Anyone Who Had a Heart" that eclipsed sales of Warwick's version. Former Destiny's Child singer LeToya Luckett will play Warwick. Oscar winner Olympia Dukakis will appear in the film as Marlene Dietrich, who mentored Warwick and went by the nickname "Momma."
