Twitter Suspends Azealia Banks' Account
. ![]() (Radio.com) It looks as though Azealia Banks has been banned from more than just a UK festival for her speech. She may have finally let loose one too many tirades on Twitter. The social media platform suspended her account on Thursday (May 12). As much as it advocates free speech, Twitter also has certain rules in place when it comes to behavior. "In order to ensure that people feel safe expressing diverse opinions and beliefs, we do not tolerate behavior that crosses the line into abuse, including behavior that harasses, intimidates, or uses fear to silence another user's voice," the company wrote on its policy page. As part of that code, Twitter does not tolerate harassment or hateful conduct. The last two tweets seen on Banks' account before it was suspended continued much of the hateful speech she has used to attack everyone from Sarah Palin to Zayn Malik. See the final tweets here.
