Ozzy Osbourne Statement Following Reported Split With Sharon
. ![]() (hennemusic) Ozzy Osbourne has released his first public statement following his reported split with wife and manager Sharon in the past week with some reports speculating about his sobriety. It's been widely reported that Sharon kicked the rocker out of their Los Angeles mansion last week over accusations that he's been having an affair with 45-year-old celebrity hairstylist Michelle Pugh. "At this time, Ozzy is not in the marital home," an Osbourne family spokesperson confirmed to Rolling Stone. Now, Ozzy has stepped forward to clarify the speculation in some media reports that the split had something to do with the singer's sobriety. "I have been sober for three and a quarter years," Ozzy tells E! News. "I have not touched drugs or alcohol in that time. Any reports that I am not sober are completely inaccurate." On Monday, Sharon was absent from her gig on the CBS-TV daytime series The Talk. "As we get started, Sharon is not here today," said Julie Chen, one of the show's co-hosts and wife of CBS President and CEO Leslie Moonves. "There were many tabloid headlines of her and Ozzy, rumors and speculations that they have split up after nearly 34 years of marriage. "Sharon understandably took today off and we are sending all of our love to her and to her family. And we ask that you do the same."
