Ozzy's Guitarist Gus G. Covers 'Game of Thrones' Theme Song
. ![]() (Radio.com) Gus G., the guitarist for Ozzy Osbourne and Firewind, recently put his own spin on the Game of Thrones theme song with some serious shredding without knowing the show. According to Loudwire, Gus G. was unfamiliar with the television series' theme song, but he liked it so much he put together his own interpretation minutes after hearing it. In the minute long clip, Gus G. starts the song out slowly and delicately before gracing it with fast, frantic musicianship, transporting the theme song into a hard rock number instead of the more orchestral original. While the overall darkness of the theme song remains intact, Gus G.'s version amps the somber feel with plenty of guitar fuzz and shredding. Watch the video here.
