Dweezil Zappa Forced To Change Name Of Tribute Show Tour
. ![]() (Prog) Dweezil Zappa revealed that has been forced to change the name of his tribute show Zappa Plays Zappa following a family feud over copyright infringement. After a decade of touring, the project has been renamed Dweezil Zappa Plays Frank Zappa amid legal disputes between the guitarist and the Zappa Family Trust over trademarks and music licensing. Dweezil tells the New York Times: "It doesn't exactly roll off the tongue, but this is being done under duress. I just hope people will understand that the only thing I'm changing is the name."
