ASAP Ferg Looks Back With 'Let It Bang' Video

03/28/2016
.
(Radio.com) ASAP Ferg takes viewers back to 1996 in the music video for "Let It Bang" off the rapper's upcoming sophomore studio album Always Strive and Prosper. But this isn't a fun trip down memory lane.

Shot in Harlem, New York, and featuring ScHoolboy Q, the video focuses on ASAP Ferg's Uncle Psycho. Cutting back and forth between 1996 and 2016, the video provides a dark look at a troubled family member who got kicked out of his girlfriend's apartment and scared even his own parents.

With heavy references to Wu-Tang Clan, a group Psycho listened to so much he thought Old Dirty Bastard was his true persona, the video's imagery and coloring reflects his disturbed mental state. Watch the video here.
