CeeLo Green Covers Bowie's 'Space Oddity'
. It's all part of Cee Lo Green: Live in L.A., which will air this Friday, March 11th on AT&T U-Verse and DirecTV's Audience Network (via Billboard). The program released a 2 minute clip of CeeLo covering Bowie as a teaser to the upcoming special. Filmed just four days after Bowie's death, CeeLo spoke from the heart about how much the musician meant to him. "What can we say, we're speechless," he told the camera. "You will live forever in our hearts. You are so wonderful; your soul and spirit is immortal. We love you dearly." Dedicating their rendition to Bowie, Cee Lo launched into a somber "Space Oddity" replete with acoustic guitar and flute. His magnanimous voice carries the song to new heights. Check it out here.
