. The controversy was originally prompted when Kanye changed the title of his upcoming album from SWISH to WAVE. Khalifa feels that Kanye shouldn't use the term "wave" due in part to the phrase/style that has been widely credited to the former Dipset rapper. The recording, "My Wave (A Message for Kanye West)," features Max B rapping over the Pharcyde's 11995 classic track, "Runnin'."
