. Compton Mayor Aja Brown took to Twitter Thursday (Jan. 14) to announce the news writing, "you inspire millions and rep Compton with honor!" She added that she is "excited" to give the 28-year-old the key to the city. The California MC tweeted back to Mayor Brown, "I appreciate that. HUBLUV." Kendrick Lamar is nominated for 11 Grammys including Album of the Year for To Pimp a Butterfly and Song of the Year for "Alright." The 58th Grammy Awards will beam out live from the Staples Center in Los Angeles on Monday February 15 on CBS at 8 PM ET. See the tweets here.
