DJ Mustard Talks Britney Spears Collaboration
. While even DJ Mustard doesn't know when the tracks will drop, he admitted he was surprised to learn Spears wanted to work with him in the first place. "This dude that signed me, JGramm, he's a producer. He was like, 'Yo I got this song,'" Mustard recounts. "He's like, 'Man, I think Britney Spears would be tight on it.'" DJ Mustard continued, "I never thought I could do that, I never thought I could be like, 'Yo, let's call Britney Spears.' I didn't even think she'd want to do it. Next thing you know, like, 'Alright, she's going to cut the record.'" What happened when DJ Mustard got an opportunity to work with one of the biggest names in pop? He showed up late, of course. DJ Mustard admitted being tardy to the studio the day he was set to record Spears. But Spears took it all in stride. "Nah she was just kindashe was cool," he said. Listen to his new track here.
