Anderson .Paak Releases Triple Video
.
(Radio.com) In 2016, it's hard to confine a song to a single music video. As Beyonce taught us with Lemonade, an artist's body of work speaks in multiple parts to create an overall message. In keeping with that theme, Anderson .Paak just released a single video for three tracks: "The Season," "Carry Me," and "The Waters," demonstrating that songs as movements in a single journey often tell the best story. .Paak directed the video with Chris Le and it takes viewers through retro movie-making kitsch, hipster galactic exploration, and even some Drake-style dancing. Donald Trump's face also makes an appearance in the scrapbook-style video. Watch .Paak's ambitious premiere here. Radio.com is an official news provider for antiMusic.com. advertisement |
