(Radio.com) Dave Navarro had to be rescued by New York City firefighters on Thursday (April 14) after the Jane's Addiction guitarist got stuck in an elevator, he revealed in an online posting.

The host of Ink Master was on the way to visit a radio station when the contraption he was in plummeted 10 floors. Before being extricated by New York's finest Navarro documented the nightmare saga on social media.

"Stuck in an elevator! This is what hell is like," he captioned a corresponding selfie. At the end of the ordeal, he checked in with a photo from the ground floor of the building: "This is what's happening outside - STUCK IN THE ELEVATOR." Read more here.
