Bataclan Announces First Shows Since Paris Terrorist Attacks

04/14/2016
.
(Radio.com) Le Bataclan has been closed since a terrorist attack at the Eagles of Death Metal concert on November 13th left 89 dead. But shortly after that horrifying incident, the venue announced it would not capitulate to terror and would eventually re-open.

The Bataclan announced Wednesay (April 13th) who will be first on the bill. Pete Doherty will take the stage on November 16th-three days after the one-year anniversary of the attacks-for the venue's first official show after reopening. (It is still unclear whether the show will mark the venue's official re-opening, or if a date prior to the event will serve that purpose.)

Other shows to follow Doherty's include Youssou N'Dour and the Super Etoile de Dakar on November 18th, Nada Surf on December 2nd and MZ on December 3rd. Read more here.
