(Radio.com) Covers from the Foo Fighters just keep coming this week. So far the band has performed with Yes' Jon Davison, Stevie Nicks, HAIM and Jack Black. On Tuesday night, they kept the special appearances rolling by performing Jane's Addiction songs with Perry Farrell and Chris Chaney.

It was the band's second night at Los Angeles' Forum, and they invited the Jane's Addiction frontman to join them on stage for a few tracks like "Had a Dad" and "Been Caught Stealing."

Dave Grohl gave a moving speech about Farrell's influence on Foo Fighters' music, 'I can honestly say that we would not f--ing be here right now without this person," he said. 'This person is responsible for creating a movement and putting a fire under a evolution which eventually exploded and made my band and a lot of other bands come up into the mainstream and let people know what real f--ing music is all about. Because ladies and gentlemen, if it weren't for Perry Farrell we wouldn't be here right now. How many f--ing Lollapalooza's did you go to?"

As if that wasn't enough, earlier in the show Jane's Addiction bassist Chris Chaney appeared to play "Cold Day in the Sun." Watch the video with Farrell captured by FunFooFilms here.
