The Dead Weather Streaming New Song 'Cop and Go'

. (Radio.com) The Dead Weather is preparing to release their third album, Dodge and Burn on September 25 and the band has just premiered a new song from the upcoming album, "Cop and Go."

Dodge and Burn will be their first album in five years. Of course in the time since the band members have kept busy: drummer and leader Jack White has released two solo albums and toured, singer Alison Mosshart has worked with her main band the Kills, bassist Jack Lawrence has worked with his band the Greenhornes and guitarist/keyboardist Dean Fertita has played with Queens of the Stone Age.

Dead Weather won't be touring the promote the album - Jack White recently said he wants to take a long break from touring - but they will be performing Monday night (September 14) on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert. Listen to the new song here.
