Southern California rockers Rival Sons has announced that they have been selected by Black Sabbath to be the main support act for the legendary heavy metal band's final world tour.Black Sabbath have already announced the initial dates for the North American leg of their farewell tour which will be kicking off on January 20, 2016 in Omaha, NE at the Century Link Center.
Rival Sons guitarist Scott Holiday had this to say about landing the gig, "We couldn't be more honored and excited to announce we'll be supporting the legendary Black Sabbath on their upcoming world tour!
"This will take us to places we haven't been and back to those places where we've made so many friends and fans. Here we go folks... Black Sabbath and Rival Sons coming to your town/city/country soon!"
Frontman Jay Buchanan adds, "To have this opportunity is at first unfathomable and then flattering to know we'll be in company with these bonfire legends each night. Thank you Black Sabbath."
