Morrissey Does Surprise Cover Of Waylon Jennings Classic

(Radio.com) Morrissey made waves at a recent show (on August 29th) in Visalia, California, when Rolling Stone reports he covered a classic song none other than country legend Waylon Jennings.

Morrissey was halfway through the show when he unexpectedly began the Jennings classic "Are You Sure Hank Done It This Way?" The song, which topped the charts in the mid-70's, is Jenning's way of dissing low-quality rip-off country music.

"Lord, it's the same old tune/Fiddle and guitar/Where do we take it from here? Rhinestone suits and big shiny cars, it's been the same way for years," crooned Morrissey. Watch video of the performance here.
