Taylor Swift Set To Co-Chair 2016 Met Gala

(Radio.com) The Metropolitan Museum of Art announced this week that Taylor Swift will be co-chairing the 2016 Met Gala, according to US Weekly. The annual event celebrates the best in fashion with several co-chairs drawn from the fashion and celebrity worlds to help cultivate the theme.

2016's theme will be 'Manus x Machina: Fashion in an Age of Technology.' Andrew Bolton, curator of the Costume Institute, said the theme choice will "focus on the dichotomy between handmade haute couture and machine-made fashion."

Actor Idris Elba, Vogue's Editor-in-Chief Anna Wintour, Karl Lagerfeld, Nicolas Ghesquiere and Miuccia Prada will also serve as co-chairs. Read more here.
