One Direction No Longer Need Ed Sheeran's Help
. Sheeran had worked with One Direction on three of four of their albums, but he explained in an interview with MTV why he wasn't involved in their upcoming release "Made In The A.M.". "They've gotten to a point where they know how to write songs," he said. "Harry [Styles] was 16 when I first met himbut now he's 21 and has written with everyone in the world and learned how to write songs, so they don't really need as much help anymore. They can kind of do their own thing." But that doesn't mean that Sheeran hasn't been busy working with outside artists. Bieber told Australia's Sunrise morning show that Sheeran wrote a track on his upcoming album, which is set to be released on the same day as One Directions. Bieber made headlines earlier this week when he released an online video mocking One Direction over the fact that his yet-to-be-titled studio effort and One Direction's new album are both scheduled to be released on November 13th As we previously reported, Bieber appears in the video (via ABC) with a scared facial expression and says, "The face you make when you come out with an album the same day as Justin Bieber."
