Pusha T Plans Cruel Summer Pt. 2, Mini Movie
. If you were unaware, Pusha T is the new president of Kanye West's G.O.O.D. Music, and during the interview, he ran down the label priorities to hosts Rap Radar hosts Elliott Wilson and Brian (B. Dot) Miller. "This is my wish list, it's all about getting out my album--these two albums--getting out a Big Sean album," he said. "And my wish list is getting out a Cruel Summer album Part Two." Cruel Summer, the G.O.O.D. Music collabo album featuring all-star cast of Kanye West, Pusha T, Kid Cudi, John Legend, and more--was released in 2012. When Wilson asked Pusha why Cruel Summer failed to sell well, given the album's star power, Pusha pointed to the free records they shared with fans each Friday during the crew's "G.O.O.D. Music Fridays" promotion. "I think we gave away all the records," he said. "What people don't realize is, I love that record. I love that album. It was a top representation of G.O.O.D. Music as a whole. And it was great rap s***. But we started a thing with the G.O.O.D. Friday thing and we couldn't turn it off." Read more and listen to the full interview here.
