Sara Bareilles Covers Chris Stapleton's 'Tennessee Whiskey'

(Radio.com) In the past week, country singer Chris Stapleton's profile has risen considerably. His debut album, Traveller, is currently sitting at No. 1 on the Billboard album charts having sold 177,000 units between Nov. 4 and Nov. 5.

One of his new fans is Sara Bareilles, who posted a clip of herself singing "Tennessee Whiskey." The song was originally recorded by David Allan Coe and later covered by George Jones, but is regaining recognition after being included on Traveller.

Bareilles wrote on Facebook: "I literally can't stop listening and now I am singing it all day long. Tennessee Whiskey. Oof. Forgive me for indulging' Chris Stapleton."

Stapleton reposted the clip, writing, "Wow! Now I literally can't stop listening (to you)." Check it out here.
