Grateful Dead's Bob Weir and Phil Lesh Jam At NYC Club

(Radio.com) After the Grateful Dead's "Fare Thee Well" concerts this summer, some Dead fans may have questioned if bass player Phil Lesh would perform again with the other members of the "core four" - singer/guitarist Bob Weir, and drummers Billy Kreutzmann and Mickey Hart.

The latter three are currently touring as the Dead and Company (accompanied by John Mayer, former Allman Brothers Band bassist Oteil Burbridge and Fare Thee Well keyboardist Jeff Chimenti).

In fact, this past Saturday night (Halloween night), as Dead and Co. played Madison Square Garden, Lesh played his own gig a little over an hour away at New York's Capitol Theatre.

But it seems that it's all good with the former bandmates: last night Phil Lesh joined jam band Midnight North on stage at a small NYC club called S.O.B.'s, and the collective was also joined by Bob Weir. They performed the Dead's "Mr. Charlie." Watch the video here.
