Brandon Flowers Thinks The Killers Don't Get Their Due

. (Radio.com) Brandon Flowers just released his latest solo album, The Desired Effect, and he also took the opportunity to release one piping hot take: that although he'd like to let us finish, The Killers are one of the best bands of the last 15 years.

"Whether the people want to accept it or not, we might be the best band in the last long time," Flowers claims in an interview with The Independent. 'I'd go up any night against just about any band that's come out in the last 15 years."

Flowers added that he feels robbed of credit for his participation in a band that received seven GRAMMY nominations: 'Not that it's a competition, but I do feel sometimes people don't have a grasp on what we've accomplished and what we've acquired." Read more here.
