Echosmith Perform Cool Kids On American Idol Finale

(popmusiclife) Echosmith teamed up with contestant Joey Cook to perform their 2013 hit, "Cool Kids", on the season 14 finale of American Idol Wednesday night. The song was the lead single from the band's debut album, "Talking Dreams."

It peaked at No. 13 on the US Billboard Hot 100 on its way to selling more 2 million copies in the States alone. The band's latest single, "Bright", is also from the debut project.

The California pop outfit will perform at Rock In Rio USA in Las Vegas on May 15 on a bill topped by Taylor Swift before playing a series of European shows starting in Brussels, Belgium on May 19. Watch the Idol performance here.
