Tim McGraw To Star in New TNT Drama Series 'Robbers'

(Radio.com) Ever since impressing as an alcoholic father in the film version of Friday Night Lights, Tim McGraw has qualified as a legitimate double threat in entertainment, so it is no surprise that he revealed to Rolling Stone that he gets a lot of scripts sent to him.

Maybe it is more surprising that he seems to be very choosy with his roles, though he does have a spot in the upcoming Tomorrowland coming to theaters soon.

As for the small screen, McGraw has signed on to star in a new drama series named Robbers. The crime series will appear on TNT and McGraw will also sit in the executive producer's chair. Read more here.
