Pink Floyd's David Gilmour Adds Dates To Fall Tour
. (hennemusic) David Gilmour has added two more shows at London's Royal Albert Hall to his fall European tour. The Pink Floyd guitarist - who is currently working on his fourth solo album - will now perform on October 2 and 3 for a total of five nights at the legendary London venue. Tickets for all shows went on sale Friday morning and the extra dates were added on the fly due to overwhelming demand from fans, who scooped up seats for the first three concerts. The fall shows will sync up with the launch of Gilmour's first solo record in eight years. Roxy Music's Phil Manzanera recently shared an update on the project, telling Uncut: "It's going very well.
