Blues Pills Working On New Album
. (The Blues) Blues Pills are working on their second album, frontwoman Elin Larsson has confirmed. They released their self-titled debut last year and wrapped up a UK tour with Rival Sons in November. And Larsson reveals that rather than a mix of rock and blues on the upcoming release, their new material will have a different feel. She tells Metal Express Radio: "The next album is going to be more like 60's soul funk. We've already started to work on the second album in the studio and we hope it's going to be better than the first one." She also reveals that while she's influenced by Aretha Franklin, Janis Joplin and the Beatles, it was Black Sabbath who gave her a taste of heavier music. Read more here.
