Reba McEntire Releases New Single 'Going Out Like That'
. (Radio.com) The woman at the center of Reba McEntire's new single may have a broken heart, but that's not going to keep her "sitting home and crying." Instead, she's defying expectations by putting on her sexiest red dress and heels, heading out for the evening and turning herself into "the life of the party." "Going Out Like That" is Reba's first new single in four years, and the lead song from her upcoming new album, which she announced last year. The album is expected to see release in April on Nash Icon Records. "Going Out Like That" was penned by veteran Nashville songwriters Ben Hayslip, Rhett Akins, Jason Sellers and produced by Tony Brown, with whom Reba's been working for most of her career. 'When you listen to thousands of songs trying to find just the right one to record, a really great song jumps out at you," Reba wrote in a post on her Instagram page. "That's exactly what 'Going Out Like That' did to me. It jumped out because it's a great song with up-tempo sassiness!!! The first time I heard it, a man was singing the demo. When I sang it coming from a female perspective, it became a woman's power anthem. Sure hope you like it." Check out the song here. Radio.com is an official news provider for antiMusic.com.
