B.O.B Releases 'No Genre: The Label' Mixtape
. (Radio.com) The dawn of 2015 provides Atlanta rapper B.O.B with just the thing he needed: an excuse to release new music. No Genre: The Label isn't just a typical mixtape, though. It's an introduction to B.O.B's new label, featuring appearances from the entire squad, which comprises Lin-Z, Jake Lambo, London Jae and Scotty ATL, over beats from K.E. on the Track, DJ BurnOne, JaqueBeatz and then the ringleader, B.O.B himself. So, what exactly is the meaning of No Label? In an interview with Rap-Up TV, B.O.B explains that the project allows him to work without limitation: 'It quite simply means I can do what the f- I feel like doing." He went on to describe his forthcoming fourth studio album, which will be released this spring. 'This album will be more like The Adventures of Bobby Ray to me," he said, referencing his 2010 debut album. 'But with an edge that The Adventures of Bobby Ray never had." Check out the mixtape here.
