Ringo Starr Completes Work On New Album
. (Gibson) Ringo Starr may have recently received notice of his induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, but that doesn't mean he's resting on his laurels. In addition to signing on to do Skechers ads next year, the former Beatles has just announced the completion of a new solo album. This past summer he told Billboard the album would feature Steve Lukather, Peter Frampton, Richard Marx, Dave Stewart, Glen Ballard and Nashville songwriter Gary Nicholson, among others. "It's all my pals, really," he said, at that time. "We just get together. It's a mixed bag, as my records always are. We have the reggae track and we have the rock track and that's how it is. It's pop, rock, reggae." Read more here. Gibson.com is an official news provider for antiMusic.com.
