Lady Gaga To Appear On 'American Horror Story'

. (Radio.com) Mother monster has just landed the most Lady Gaga-like role ever: a cameo on American Horror Story. Other than the production start date in July and the air date in October, little is known about Gaga's role.

Gaga, who seems to be transitioning into the Cher-phase of her career--first by transcending contemporary pop with her jazz standards album, then becoming the highlight of this year's Oscars, and now by venturing into acting--will be starring in the fifth edition of the show.

But this is one part she was pretty much born to play. In fact, Gaga is such a good fit for the role, Vulture found fan-made YouTube videos that foreshadowed the pop star's appearance on the show. Check out one of them, a compilation of Gaga wearing horrific ensembles, here.
