Pharrell Plans Children's Book Based On 'Happy'
. (Radio.com) Pharrell is going to make a lot of little kids very happy to read. According to Billboard (via the Associated Press), Pharrell signed a 4-book deal with the publisher Putnam Books for Young Readers to write a series of children's picture books, kicking it off with one based on his global and GRAMMY award winning hit, "Happy." The book is scheduled to be published on September 22 and reportedly will feature photographs of kids from around the world "celebrating what it means to be happy." Hopefully, it's a little easier for him to put this book together than the actual song. Pharrell told Radio.com that "Happy" was "the tenth song after nine songs didn't work for what the movie company described as a pivotal moment in the film." Read more here.
