Diplo Has Obscene Response To Artwork Theft Accusation
. (Radio.com) Diplo, one of the biggest DJs on the planet, is not without his share of controversies. The Major Lazer founder has had highly publicized beef with both Lorde and with Taylor Swift's fans, and now has publicly used some offensive language to combat allegations of stealing someone's art. The art in question is a gif from Rebecca Mock that appeared in a recent Jack U teaser trailer of their collaboration with Missy Elliott. Mock called out Diplo on Twitter, and the DJ responded by saying, "I credited her what you want me to do?" Diplo went on to suggest a couple obscene alternatives to credit. (Via CoS) Diplo went on to amend the Instagram post of the teaser to include Mock's credit, but the damage had been done. "The credit was retroactive, without my consent, and not even a proper tag," Mock said on her personal Facebook (via Reddit). "His comments were atrocious and inexcusable." See the post here.
