Netflix Release Trailer For Kyle Chandler's New Series 'Bloodline'
. (Radio.com) It's about as far away from coaching high school football as you can get, but the endearing Southern drawl of Kyle Chandler (Friday Night Lights, Super 8) returns intact in the first full trailer for Bloodline. The new Netflix series is an original drama set in the Florida Keys about a coastal family's paradise lost. Created by the team behind FX's Damages, the narrative of Bloodline centers around a group of adult siblings, the Rayburns, whose world turns upside down when a long-departed outcast returns and causes trouble. In addition to Chandler, the series also stars Sissy Spacek, ER's Linda Cardellini and Australian character actor Ben Mendelsohn, all playing members of the Rayburn family. The promotional description for the show reads: "The Rayburns are hard-working pillars of their Florida Keys community. But when the black sheep son comes home for the 45th anniversary of his parents' hotel, he threatens to expose the Rayburns' dark secrets and shameful past, pushing his siblings to the limits of family loyalty." Beyond that, not many plot details have been revealed, although the trailer does promise lots of intrigue ("Sometimes, you know something's comingyou feel it in the air," Chandler says in the trailer as the music swells and tension rises). And, this being set on the coast, plenty of boating. Watch the trailer here. Radio.com is an official news provider for antiMusic.com.
