(Radio.com) Willie Nelson was one of numerous artists who performed at John Lennon's 75th Birthday Concert in New York earlier this month. Nelson took on Lennon's iconic song, "Imagine," and video of his performance was made available today.

Standing front and center, Nelson softly adds a mild country twang to the tune. A backing band, replete with Leland Sklar on bass and Mickey Raphael on harmonica, flesh out the tune's original piano-heavy focus into a fuller sound, Rolling Stone Country notes.

John Lennon's 75th Birthday Concert also included performances by Spoon, Brandon Flowers, Chris Stapleton and Kris Kristofferson. Watch Nelson's performance here.
