Scott Weiland Found Dead On Tour Bus

(Radio.com) Former Stone Temple Pilots and Velvet Revolver frontman Scott Weiland died in his sleep while on a tour stop in Bloomington, Minnesota, with his band The Wildabouts Thursday (December 3), according to a release issued via his social media accounts.

Hard rock site KNAC.com reports that Weiland's personal manager found the singer unresponsive in his tour bus. Weiland's wife, Jamie Weiland confirmed his passing to the LA Times saying, "I can't deal with this right now," she said, sobbing. 'It's true."

Scott Weiland and the Wildabouts recently kicked off a tour that has upcoming dates in Dallas, Houston, Napa, California as well as a December 21 show at the famed Roxy in West Hollywood. He turned 48 on Oct. 27. Read more here.
