Benny Boom In Talks To Direct Tupac Biopic
. If Boom accepts the job, he'll be the third director attached to the film. Boom has directed videos for some of the biggest names in hip hop including Nicki Minaj, 50 Cent, Lil Wayne, Nas, Nelly and more. Boyz N the Hood director John Singleton was first set to direct the Tupac biopic. He walked away from the movie because he felt "'the people involved aren't really respectful of the legacy of Tupac Amaru Shakur." Singleton said he was going to begin working on his own version of Tupac's life story for the silver screen. Singleton was replaced by Carl Franklin, however, Franklin has exited the film in late October.
