Bobbi Kristina Has 'Irreversible Brain Damage' Says Cissy Houston

. (Radio.com) After Bobby Brown told a crowd at a concert over the weekend that his daughter, Bobbi Kristina was "awake" and "watching me," her grandmother is countering his statements by revealing some sad news about Bobbi Kristina's current state.

In a statement to People, Houston revealed that though it is true that her granddaughter is out of the coma, she has suffered "irreversible brain damage and remains unresponsive."

"I have just returned from visiting my granddaughter Bobbi Kristina in the hospital and while she is no longer in a medically induced coma she has a tracheotomy and according to the doctors she has global and irreversible brain damage and remains unresponsive," Houston wrote, Read more here.
