Jana Kramer and Kelsea Ballerini Launching Women of Country Tour

. (Radio.com) CMT is sending Jana Kramer and songwriter Kelsea Ballerini out on the road for the first ever Women of Country Tour. The month-long jaunt kicks off at the end of April with a show in Grand Rapids, Mich., on April 30, running through May 28 in Myrtle Beach, S.C.

The tour is part of CMT's "Next Women" campaign, launched in 2013 with the aim of generating attention and airplay for emerging female country artists. It has featured Kacey Musgraves, Brandy Clark, Cassadee Pope and Ashley Monroe.

"I am beyond excited to be a part of the first Next Women of Country tour," Kramer said in a press release. "I'm a big advocate for us girls sticking together and encouraging each other. I can't wait to see everyone on the road!" See the dates here.
