Jack White Performs Stripped-Down White Stripes Song
. White resurrected one of his old songs for La Blogothque, appearing on the show to perform the White Stripes' 2001 White Blood Cells track, "The Same Boy You've Always Known," and a more recent song, "Entitlement," from his solo album Lazaretto, which came out earlier this year. Performing alongside a cellist, banjo player and violinist in Paris' Chteau de Fontainebleau's Saint-Saturnin Chapel, White gives especially stripped down renditions of both songs, without using a microphone. In the video, directed by Colin Solal Cardo, we also get a tour of the Chapel's gorgeous grounds as White meanders through them while playing his guitar. Jack White is currently on tour in support of Lazaretto. Watch the video here. Radio.com is an official news provider for antiMusic.com.
