Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds Release New Video
. Gallagher lays down a typically infectious lead guitar line, equal parts chugging and gliding through the Birds' supple foundation. His voice hasn't aged a day-every line dips and rises through sticky hooks, singing about love lost and found as the band chugs along. "When the thunder and lightning comes, I know you'll be my side," he purrs. He throws in a healthy does of "na na na na's" on the chorus; that's just who he is. Gallagher's latest album Chasing Yesterday will be out soon. In a recent interview, Smiths guitarist Johnny Marr, who played on several songs, described it as "very melodic, some of it pretty rocking too." Watch the video here.
