South Park Reveals Lorde's True Identity

(Radio.com) The Lorde age truthers only had it half right, according to South Park. Wednesday night (Oct. 8), the show revealed the true identity of the Kiwi singer, claiming she's really Randy Marsh-Stan's dad-a middle aged man who was pretending to be a woman so that he could use the ladies bathroom at work. An elaborate plan to say the least.

This joke on Lorde is a continuation from last week's episode, "Gluten Free Ebola" where Randy claims he works with Lorde's uncle, only to show up at a party Stan, Kyle, Cartman and Kenny are throwing dressed as the pop star to sing her made-up song, "I Am Lorde."

This episode also pokes a little fun at music journalism with a just-the-facts '40s-style reporter from Spin Magazine named Brandon Carlisle who just wants to know why the "humble" and "down to earth" Lorde is in South Park.
