Adele Album Rumor Addressed By Label

(Radio.com) Looks like we'll have to wait another year to hear a new album from Adele. As Rolling Stone points out, Adele tweeted on her birthday of this year, "Bye bye 25� See you again later in the year," leading to speculation that Adele's new album would be called 25 and that it would appear, well, later in the year.

But this does not appear to be the case, according to an XL Records financial earnings statement, which includes the note, "There will not be a further new release by Adele during 2014 and consequently there will be a fall in XL's turnover and profits.

They continue, "Nevertheless, the directors are confident that by pursuing management policies�XL will continue to achieve success with other artists." Read more here.
