. The country singer and member of the Browns said he has been diagnosed with lung cancer. "Hello friends," he said in a video posted on Facebook. "I know many of you have heard rumors that I've been sick. Well, I have, because I've been diagnosed with cancer. I just had my first treatment today and I"m going to beat it with chemo and radiation. I want to thank you for your prayers and support. I'm going to beat this little thing called cancer and I'm going to be all right within the next four months. See you next year." In the caption of the video he wrote that he was told by his doctors to take the next four months off from touring to "focus on chemotherapy and radiation treatments to shrink the cancer cells." "Two weeks ago, I was diagnosed with lung cancer," he wrote. "At that time, I was in shock and scared as I didn't know what that really meant.
