The Acacia Strain's Tour Van Hit By Alleged Drunk Driver
. Frontman Vincent Bennett posted a series of messages on Twitter explaining what happened and the aftermath. He first wrote, "This cool drunk dude ran into our van while it was parked. What a cool guy." Bennett then tweeted, "Van axle is f***ed. We cannot safely drive our van right now. Might not make Canada. I will keep you posted." The band was forced to cancel two concerts. They posted the following message on Facebook on Wednesday night, "Due to a drunk driver hitting our van last night, we will be missing tonight in Montreal and tomorrow in Toronto. We PROMISE we will do shows to make these up as soon as we can. See you in Cleveland." Meanwhile, Bennett continued to post updates for fans via Twitter. He wrote, "This is the reason we don't tour this time of year. I swear we have a holiday curse. Where the hell is the ghost of xmas past?" Followed by, "We feel f***ing horrible. There is little we can do at this point. Thank you for your kind words and understanding. See you in Cleveland." and "Booking makeup shows to both Montreal and Toronto as soon as we can."
