One Direction Head To Sesame Street

(Radio.com) There are many metrics that determine when an artist has "made it" in the music world. And, performing on Sesame Street usually isn't one of them, but why not? Not many people get a chance to change up their song to become an educational tool for youngsters.

The latest act to add Sesame Street to its resume: One Direction. Though they are heavily promoting new album, Four, their PBS contribution comes courtesy of an old song, "What Makes You Beautiful," changed for the kiddies to teach them about the use of the letter "U." The result: "What Makes U Useful."

It's gold all the way through, both in terms of seeing all five members together again (though, to be fair, this was probably recorded well in advance of Zayn Malik's recent M.I.A. status from the group) and in terms of causing endless smiles while the UK pop quintet wax on udon, unicorns, and ukuleles. Now, if only we could get them to dance around Snuffy's cabbage patch, we might have internet-breaking cuteness. Check out the clip here.
