In the four-minute video (via The Daily Mail), Zayn Malik is seen lighting up what appears to be a joint as fellow member Louis Tomlinson says they're leaving Peru "joint lit, happy days."

While in the smoke-filled car, Tomlinson jokes that Malik takes a hit as part of his warmup for a show, before asking him, "What do you think about that kind of content?" Malik then responds, "Very controversial."

As they drive by a policeman on a motorcycle, Tomlinson jokes, "He's having a look. He's thinking, 'I'm sure I can smell an illegal substance in there.' And he's hit the nail on the head."
